Will oem rsx 17's fit the rx8?

like the title says im getting some oem rsx 17's for pretty much free as a set of drift wheels and i have no ideo if they will fit. anyone know the center bore of those wheels? I cant find it anywhere.

Yeah, its the same bolt pattern. You should be good if the 17's. 16s may not clear.

17s may not clear the stock calipers. Theres a local member running Enkei RPF1 and hes rubbing on his calipers. But im not 100 percent sure if hes running 17 or 16s.

Pretty sure they are either 17x7 or 17x7.5 So they might not fit over the calipers..

hmm well we are test fitting to be sure anyway. will report back with results

You have to figure out what the offset is, offset is the distance from dead center of the rim to the where mounts to the rotor.

So if it is an 45+ or ET 45 that is about 1.83 inches from dead center of the rim.

Basically the 45+ or Et45 is 45 mm, if you divide that about 24.5 it gives you the total in inches. So if you want to see if any rim fits figure out the width of the rim say it is 7.0" measure from the center of the rim to the back of the hub if the distance matches your factory rim it will fit.

I believe the stock 18's are +50 or 2"

i understand offset and all the other jazz just wondering about the center bore size...

Ah, no idea on bore size.

Let us know how the wheel fits.

center bore size doesnt matter. offset is what is important. just from experance the front wheel drive rims dont fit on RWD due to them hitting the calipers. however you can do whatever you want with some wheel spacers. but that is just my own .02 cents.
