My name is Toby. I'm 21 years old always wanted a fc or fd but everybody wanted an arm and a leg for one, so my first two cars were 1990 nissan 240sx's. Never really had love for them so i sold both in 2012 and bought a 2004 mazda rx8 grand touring with 72k miles.

Mb battles 18x9.5 +15 offset
I have 5mm slip on spacers making them wheels +10 offset
I test fitted 15mm bolt on spacers that i have layin around those would make it hellaflush but my bc racing coilovers arent the best so i dont wanna screw up my fenders. One day ill get higher spring rates so ill have a stiffer ride.
For now it looks pretty good.

Subbed. Looking forward to this build, will be doing the same thing once summer rolls around. That's the thing about this car, all you read about is how bad the fuel economy is or how slow it is compared to other cars. You never read about how much personality it has, how much love it gives back to the owner.

Peace

Thanks the tire size are 215/40/18 all around and the Bc's are basic 8kg upfront and 6kg in the rear. I was being cheap at the time got them brand new $900 shipped. Once they blow ill get them rebuild with swift springs and higher spring rates.

Update I learned Pbm tie rod spacers wont work because there's not enough threads on the inner tie rods.

Hey. I was about to get the 7mm PBM tie rod spacers for more steering angle. Are the Super Now tie rod ends keeping the spacers from fitting?

No my Super Now tie rod ends have nothing to do with it. Its the oem inner tie rod between the steering rack doesnt have enough threads to run safetly. So as of now there are still no steering angle mods for rx8s -_-

Are you sure? It looks like they worked for these guys. I'm just curious as to why it might work for some and not others and I'm trying to figure out if I can make them work. I really need that extra angle.

Use at your on risk i wouldnt run them and my friend that installed his pbm steering angle mod kit for his 350z suggested i didnt you'll have like 2-3 threads left if spacers are installed.
