thought this was cool.

mscamp02 01-14-2011 05:50 PM

that 7 was badass...,cool vid

WTBRotary! 01-14-2011 07:00 PM

Yeah the 7 was badass but it had pistons :(

I guess you need torque for this kind of driving...

Dirt_Nasty 01-14-2011 07:07 PM

That was pretty badass. I love the ending bit.

I don't think I'd wanna drift a motorcycle..... When I was 10 I was goin down a big hill on a bike (pedal bike) and the front wheel randomly just fell off and I skidded about 50 yards after going over the handlebars. Even though I have gotten over my slight phobia of going fast on things with 2 wheels, I think drifting one would still freak me the hell out haha....

That video is awesome.... Thanks for posting that up!

Ive had the back of my bike get loose on me twice. its scary as hell. My roommate (who also rides) and I were discussing it last night and thought there is no way i could see myself actually trying to do that. Mad talent

paulmasoner 01-15-2011 03:09 PM

FWIW I've had the rear wheel loose, but only on small stuff <250cc. Even then it isnt fun

really cool vid. And the editing was awesome!
Anyone else smile every time the lil R/C came into view? :)

drifting on a bike is ok until your rear wheel gets traction -- then you're about to find out why a highside hurts.

mysql101 01-15-2011 03:20 PM

also, this guy has a lot of fun with drifting on a bike:

reason #1 why you NEVER come off the rear brake if you happen to lock it up

KYRX8 01-15-2011 04:40 PM

Awesome video. Though I like my motorcycle tires BEHIND me, not BESIDE me.

+1, even on a bicycle, learn that one the hard way.

mavictb 11-18-2011 03:10 AM

I drifted my gsxr once... right before high siding it... hindsight tells me leave that shit to the pros lol

RotaryTherapy 11-18-2011 06:01 AM

Weaksauce ^

bse50 11-18-2011 06:11 AM

Nice one too :)

mavictb 11-19-2011 02:23 AM

I drifted it pretty nice all the way around the corner... just going from sliding to traction is a tricky process... my bike got a little banged up all cosmetic fairings) and I broke a few bones but nothing major, damn thing kicked me up 6ft in the air. I was back on the bike a month later. Drifted it again a few times but not as sideways as those vids your posting.

bse50 11-19-2011 03:17 AM

I bet you didn't use the clutch to modulate your traction :p

mavictb 11-19-2011 03:55 AM

nope lol hince the high side lol

mikethecripple 04-03-2012 06:38 AM
