What to bring?
This may seem real simple, but I haven't been to DGRR before and I am not sure what we are going to have available to us. From what I understand is that there is a supermarket about 20 miles away. But what about if we need oil or coolant, or other things like i dunno food or cigarettees.
Seems like a stupid question, but I would hate to come down and freak out because I can't find a product near by. It would kind of suck if we had people that broke down and no where around to buy parts for repairs. Another thing, what about bring a tool kit or god knows first aid!
Wierd things happen. Not to mention I don't want to over pack. Are there going to be venders? What products are we going to have available to us while we are at the meet?

Last year there were no vendors for parts. Always a good idea to bring some extra oil. Being with a group of rotaries means someone will have tools haha. There were some breakdowns last year but there were knowledgeable people there with tools to get everything running.
As far as food and stuff, I've always made it a point to bring things I thought I might need so I didn't have to go to a store. There is a convience store type at fontana with stuff but it's not supermarket sized. It has things like detergent/snacks/maps/cigs(I think) etc.

Think of it as going camping with only a gas station near by, and pretty much one place to eat. That is pretty much what you get. I think the grocery store 20mi away closes really early like 9pm so if want something from there better head out early. I wouldn't pack a ton, but I would bring a few tools for small stuff like lug nuts, or hoses poping off.

This year will by far be the biggest rotary group up there so we will see how well they can handle us. They should have some extra gas trucks on call just in case .
