OEM Midpipe/Cat
Putting my stock cat up for sale. Was replaced under warranty shortly after I bought the car. Once replaced I drove it home and took it off to fit a BHR midpipe same day lol. Kept it around in case I needed it for e-tests. But never had a problem passing with no Cat, so it just sat in the garage.
I know they are an expensive part from the dealer, not looking to get rich just want rid of it. Asking $400, let me know if anyone is interested. Thanks! https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx8...80c075b200.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx8...244d59a1d1.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx8...3a4c64918e.jpg |
Hey i'm curious how you managed to get your 8 to pass emissions even without the cat. Mind revealing your secret? You'd save me several hours unbolting headers, mid pipes, ect.

As long as there's no CEL's you just get a "cat not ready" code. Either passes after a couple cycles or conditional pass which means you can drive it, just not transfer ownership. |
i have the bhr midpipe but it throws the CEL code having something to do with the o2 sensor
how did you avoid this? |

how did you avoid this? I used the Cobb AP to tune it when it was NA. It masks the CEL code for a missing cat. Can't remember the CEL code#. |
