Meh, these are the 18x7.5" Canadian ones I think. I can't remember but they are really just an off the shelf rim with a Mazdaspeed sticker on them. The factory sport wheels are 18 x 8" +50 and weigh about 20lbs which is not bad.

Not sure about the weight of the stock RX-8 rims, but they are 18x7.5

The Mazdaspeed rims that I have were manufactured by Rays Engineering, n I compared the weight of that with the stock by hand, the Mazdaspeed feels lighter...

Yes, these are lighter, but they were never designed for the RX-8. These wheels were primarily designed for the Mazda6.
Regardless, they are Rays Engineering wheels. Just not as light at the actual Mazdaspeed wheels offered for the RX-8.

These wheels should weigh around the 20-21lb mark. About 2-3lbs lighter than the stock wheel. You have to keep in mind its 18x7.5 where the original wheel is 18x8.

The actual Mazdaspeed wheel for the RX-8 is 18x8 and weighs about 18-19lbs.

Every little bit helps on a rotary engined car!
