BHR Midpipe with extra O2 bung
3 Attachment(s)
Im sure most of you know how well crafted this piece is and hopefully some of the bhr guys can chime in here. I have for sale a slightly used BHR midpipe with an extra O2 bung. The pipe has a reasonator and is catless. The midpipe came with a Davesport CAT which broke apart and is now catless as mentioned. It is too loud for my taste paired with my exoticspeed cat back. I'm the second owner of this pipe.
This is limited edition and was used in the Tokyo drift movie on Neelas rx8. This pipe alone will add 50 whp without a tune. Toretto himself has touched this pipe. Do not miss this one in a life time opportunity to own this amazing mod. Located in Vaughan Asking 425 OBO Please no low ballers cause this is a quality piece. Feel free to shoot an offer. |
50whp... without a tune?? :lol:
I'm interested, but I'll need to wait a bit. I'll pm you after work. Posted From RX8Club.com Android App |

For me it took well over a month to pop up. Then after a week of it staying old or went away somehow.

Did you have anything going to the 2nd O2 Bung? Or did you just have it capped off?
|

I should have expected this, judging by the way the OP posts among the forum. He flip-flops and asks for info, but rarely (that I know of, and this is coming from at least one more source) follows through.
I received a PM from OP (Ken) last night saying "it's pretty much yours." without any further details. I respond with "alright, let me know asap". This morning/afternoon, I receive a pm saying that $--- is the price he would sell for. I respond by saying "done". A few minutes later he says "but, this local guy offered me this much". I respond, "I'll pay more". He says "But it's more convenient blah blah blah, but he may bail, so wait until Sunday, blah blah blah, I really want to help a Canadian that serves." I say, "No, that's not how it works. I'll pay now, or not at all." I just don't understand people who go back on their word. I know that not everything is rainbows and sunshine, but this is just ridiculous. You have an item for sale. Sell the item. If someone has "dibs", let others know so that they aren't "holding their breath" (especially if you are having continual conversation about the product with said person). I don't think he's a scammer. But with my experience throughout this, I doubt I'd ever buy from him. Just beware that he may back out at any given time, should you deal with him. |
^ I agree with you, if a deal was made then follow through and ship the man his part
|
In our PMs i said you had dibs if no one local wants it .. locals have first dibs overall cause i would rather not ship this. And yes it looked like the midpipe was going to be shipped to you because the 2 local guys who said they were interested werent giving me a definitive answer. I went to the post office this morning to get a quote for shipping. The price you wanted me to sell it to you for after the shipping cost is considered came out to about 330 for the midpipe. which is no where near my asking price.
Yes i then asked for $XXX.XX for it and yes you did agree on that price but one of the local guys agreed to buy it before you agreed. This was all happening while i was pming you back and forth. Like i said in our PM "I would rather sell this locally, if not i will ship it to you" This was just a matter of who said yes first. I understand you agreed to my asking price but at the same time like i said i was talking to the local guy and he agreed before you. And when you said you would pay "more", your more was an additional 5 bucks. No thanks. I would rather sell locally for the same amount of money and save me the hassle of packaging it etc. But ill take the blame for this. I did make it seem like the pipe was sold to you already. But theres no need to make me look like a bad guy saying youd never buy from me and that i "flip flop" around the forum. Ive never had an issue selling anything. |
@RX8Soldier
Sorry dude, I was one of the local guys being a slacker on providing an answer. |
Picked up midpipe today!
Thanks Ken. It's in perfect shape. Can't wait to install it. |
Anytime brother !!!
