is manual,
has about 76 000 km
had a claim of $6,300 for hail damage in June of last year,
owner was somewhere in Woodbridge,
recently came off a lease,
has the full factory bodykit,
what looks like aftermarket exhaust,
i dunno if this would help but the VIN is JM1FE173250141628

if you owned this or know who did, i would very much like to find out if it was ever winter driven, and things like that

theres no set price as its an auction,
the auction is tmrw morning at adesa toronto, which is located here in brampton
hopefully we can get the guy to go there to pick us up this one and a black cx7 they have aswell

itll probably go for about 14,000-ish

 

lol an RX8 and a CX7 living under one roof..... Sounds like my place, my wife drives a CX7... It's a pig on gas like the 8, but she does pack a punch!

 

get it. Thats a good price, it has the appearence package, which means that guy loaded it. And, best of all, it's white.

 

yea thats what i figured, and it was probably well taken care of
but unfortunately, no one from my dad's dealership is going down to the auction tmrw so there goes this opportunity
but in the search for someone to go down tmrw, my dad called his old friend who happens to have a
2004 black RX8,
20,000 original miles,
manual,
GT,
from the southern states,
had a dented door but the guy who has it now just switched a new one in lol,
and my dads gonna go look at it friday.
and the guy only wants 14,500
its my dad old friend too, so its not some sham
still, its a shame about the CX, but there'll be others, hopefully.

 

how could u not tell if it was winter driven so easy to tell with the 8's...checks the back wheel wells if there is rust..if u see some orange spots then yes winter driven...also the back rotors rust from winter driving very badly on the 8's especially the 04' and 05'

 

btw i think i see some orange spot ..... rust in one of the wheel wells u showed on the second pic right on the bottom beside the side skirt..................but hey ur paying 14-ish then that's what u get *'s use to be 39,995.00 when new so yeah ur getting a very good price

 

I used to see a white 8 with that same apperance package tooling around Doodbridge, and it was an asian female driving it

it is actually one of the service managers at avante mazda in richmond hill, he is a friend of mine....

 

and yes it was winter driven

 

and service every half hour..lol..he also has the trunk liner, the winter matts and some crome accents for the interior...

 

the car went for 15,600
so we wouldn't have gotten it anyways lol

wow... for a service manager to ruin the car so bad that it's own dealership wouldn't even take it back at the end of the lease... that says something...

 

taking a car back after the lease is not a friend thing....or cause someone is cool and works there......the reason the dealership didnt want the car back is because the buyout of the car is, as always to keep your lease payments down, waaaaaay more that the car is worth,,,,aka the dealsership does not want to end up being stuck with a brick they cant sell....unless of course rx8s dont depreciate....

 

yea, the dealership doesnt take it back, they get it looked at by i forget who, but they make a report on the vehicle's condition, send it to mazda canada, mazda canada sets a price, if the dealer pays that, its theirs, if not, it goes to the auction(Adesa), where i wanted to buy it.
but i didnt lol
theres a beautiful 2006 red one now lol, also looks like it has aftermarket exhaust, with only 12,300 KM'S
but with that year and mileage itll go for an easy 16,000+

 

right now the 8s are getting all the money...as well i think you meant the lease return or renewal manager

my dad told me how it works a while ago
they had a red 05 in good condition, the price mazda canada set was like 16,400
and he wanted to buy it, but the day he wanted to put it up to check out underneath, a mazda dealership in new brunswick bought it

i think itll be better to buy one in the fall
