Picked up my Black GT this morning. Brought it home, and already thinking about what should be my second accessory. I already added the front and rear Rotary chrome grille pieces.

What has been your favourite add on since you bought your 8?

 

First add-on - same as yours. Favorite - the same. Most practical - all weather mats. Next - Bonnett strats from Europe.

Clear side markers - there's nice. Will be on my wishlist - eBay has many about $60. Very reasonable - John

 

If its the guy from Japan, he is great ~ super fast shipping and they come with bulbs.....

 

I actually haven't done any mods to my car yet. I've bought the rotary stem caps but haven't put them on yet for fear of throwing my wheels out of balance. What I'd like to do in the near future is:

- Front and back polished rotary emblems
- Front license plate flush mount
- Weather Tec floor mats
- Fender strakes
- Front spoiler and side skirts
- Clear bra
- Window tinting
- Painted calipers

And I'm sure I've left some stuff off. Man this is getting expensive! Long term mods include Stage I or II ECU piggy-back chip and cat back exhaust.

The first one would be the sill plate at the side and the MP3 player

 

I am thinking next on the list will be the Exhaust finishers, the Rear Arc spoiler and maybe the side deflector skirts. And oh yeah, maybe save enough money for the next payment!

What exactly is this, how much and who does this? Any negative effects to the car's finish?

I will be getting the windows tinted. I will also get a spare tire (why mazda would not include one is beyond me. In fact my miata had a spare and the trunk was EVEN smaller!) I will probably also be getting the mud flaps.
