What kind of crap is on your street?

Just got an 8 in August having never been part of the RX family before. Came from a Toyota Celica which I enjoyed a lot but nothing like this rx8.

But now I'm trying to keep this thing clean let alone save the tires from punctures considering I haven't got a spare, like most of you I think.

So out of the blue, the townhouse complex where I live (admittedly a lower income area) is getting new sidewalks (only on one side) and the construction crews are in ... I respect the hard work these guys have to do but the cleanup is a disaster. And to make matters worse, this neighbourhood is over-run with kids and absentee parents. The kids are tearing up everything and screwing with the cement. I have to go out every night and C.S.I. the road for my drive to work the next morning.

I know I did way worse things when I was a kid ... so is this payback?!:banghead:

That’s why a society full of guns is a safer (edit) - cleaner and more considerate. People just know there are serious consequences for the s*** they do.
Buy a gun, they are dirt cheap in Toronto right now... (and with the current exchange rates) make sure u get an adjusted price.

Two words... Bear Traps.
That'll fix all of your problems.

bear traps are good, but they are only a short term fix.

Whats on my street? Hmmm nails, bolts.. presently. New neighborhood. I have escaped any flats as of yet though, my other half has not been so lucky.

Although what was on my street one fateful morning in June..? 5am to be exact, leaving for work, how does 8 pallets of landscaping brick sound, 14inches high, pouring rain, and I back out at an angle... could not see them in any mirror, and did not remember they were there as they showed up at 8pm the night before............. :wallbash:

But I'm not bitter, no not bitter at all...

that was a rather touching story

Do what I do to vermin, or Loud Mouth Ducks, or kids....

I think I share some of your pain.

So.... I went and bought a 3.5 million candle light power flashlight. For ducks and Vermin - I mean KIDS - no wait yeah I meant to say vermin.

People of bad behavior scatter like cockroaches under a light. Sound familiar? the answer is, buy a extremely EXTREMELY powerful light above your driveway. It must be blinding (no one lives across the street yet right?) so when that light turns on, it will be very difficult to come within range of white light death (The movie IT calls it "Dead Lights")
And it's the same principle, get a light that is blinding, so little vermin coming to close get blinded, and run in traffic or something.

Or... you could just get a sprinkler system that turns on every night and covers everything including the street.

You could also get this new high powered flash light (canadian tire) that is 10 million candlelight power, and give a sunburn to any little monster that wants to do s*** around your car.

Or Buy a BIG MEAN Dog, and take him "off the leash" each night. Plus you could still walk around with the instant sunburn beam weapon from canadian tire. Common, 10 million candle power? your walking around with ray gun.

The 3.5 million candle light power flashlight of mine can hit low bearing clouds.... imagine what a 10 million candle power can do. I think I will call it the Sun Gun, or the Sun Beam. (Sun Beam, is the name of the company - no kidding)

I had a house being torn down, and I have two rather annoying road hazards more commonly referred to as "Speed humps" Why do I call them road hazards? I'll let the pictures speak for themselves:

There's dog crap from owners who don't pick up after their dogs...

zerobio 09-29-2007 02:39 PM

Holy crap, all that sh1t on the street. I finally swept out my garage and then I did the same on the street about 2 houses in either direction. But all the rocks, glass, and other debris will be back in no time, I'm sure.:banghead:
