darknight, rx8druggist, and myself had like a mini cruise using backroads on the way back from Mosport, we were able to keep over 80, and no traffic.

I can plan it no problem, I can get to those places without a map, pretty easy. It is a minimum 1 HOUR DRIVE JUST TO GET THERE, and then the Southwood Rd. itself is at least a 30 minute drive of twisties...

To combine it with everything else people have listed, I propose the following:

1) Fall cruise
2) Back to Toronto for Korean BBQ at Chako, it's white enough that most non-asians should be able to eat no problem.
3) Strip club after Chako for entertainment in the evening.

The best part of this is that some people can show up to partial day's activities, and that's no problem too. It's easy to pop in and out of these 3 events in one day.

I won't plan it until I get a show of hands here:

I saw some club members at the Mosport Drift event Sunday.
Good event... I'll post some pics

I recognized one member because of the window clings made by RXeckless

I think there is a vested interest in at least one of said three events, I suggest people post up if they can make it, and list which Sat or Sundays don't work for them.

1) Footman
2) Prospectjtaz (any Sunday or Sat works)

Footman,

Plan away!

I'm good for either Sat. or Sun.

The proposed plan sounds interesting.

This is the road that leads into my cottage, I drive it all the time. The road is actually really fun to drive but it has claimed at least 3 lives and 7 cars in the last two years. I have crashed on this road as well, and I have been driving it for 12 years. If you are going up there do yourself a favor and drive it a few times at the speed limit, there are lots of big bumps, off camber turns, and elevation changes. I would love to join you guys if you go, but I blew my engine yesterday. Anyway thought you guys might like a heads up.

Footman I also saw you and DarkBrew at DMCC yesterday I just didn't who you were.

P.S. DarkBrew thanks for info on solving the hotstart and electrical issues, to bad the engine blew up last night

If we do a cruise to Southwood Rd. we should break into small groups as if we all hit this road together it will draw unwanted attention! It's really become a hot spot over the last few years mostly with bikes.

I just got back from a Southwood cruise. Never fails to bring a smile to my face. And right at the end (start?) there is Severn Inn, a beautiful old-fashioned inn/tavern. Too bad they closed the restaurant side, just this year! That would have been perfect ...

Anyway, I'm probably not free this Sunday, but next (Oct 03) is good. Probably a lot of people are busy for Thanksgiving, so we better make it soon eh?

2) Prospectjtaz (any Sunday or Sat works)
3) maitre (Oct 03)

So far only 3 people are expressing interest... not planning anything until I see 10 minimum.

Maybe we should start a new thread? Some people might think we're still tossing ideas back and forth in this thread.
