Since this thread is back, quick question: assuming OEM windshields are no longer in production, is it hard to get a quality replacement if needed?

I went to Safelite after rearview mirror button replacement went awry. $230 later I had a new windshield that's completely indistinguishable from the original.

Keep a good distance around your car from other cars and be aware of where they are.
Don't let the crack ruin the windshield and get it repaired soon so that you will not have to pay much for windshield replacement in the end.
