Sock sensor

Can someone tell me what is it?

It's something you put over your foot to help cushion damage to your toes when you stub it on furniture.

Wow, Broose.. love it, them, her. Is this a great country or what!
Anyway, just make sure that the sensitivity is not dialled up to Extreme. Since mine was installed last Mon. June 28, it has been going off whenever a low frequency Ricer or Crappy Tire special rumbles close by. Yesterday it went off at 6:00 am when the Star delivery guy pulled into the driveway to fling the paper onto the front porch. Needless to say, it's going back in Mon. am, for an 'adjustment' before the neighbours do me, or it, severe and lasting damage.:o
[Maybe I'll give it a shot myself today.Thnx rx8cited.]

It's something you can easily do yourself if you're up to it. Here's the DIY: Shock Sensor Install thread which will tell you how.

I'd suggest doing it yourself because the dealer is not going to be able to fine tune it for your situation as well as you can.

If you want to test the alarm without disturbing anyone, you can pull the horn relay from the fuse box under the hood as I did - don't forget to put it back ;).
