So.....who got stuck in Ontario Today?

I tried my best to get stuck up in Markham where we got mostly snow (probably 15cm).
Leaving my subdivision I encountered a nice snowplow drift from the main road. I was stuck for a moment until I turned off my DSC.
While holding 8800rpm in second gear I got free in a cloud of tire smoke and snow.

Get into the habit of entering your car, twisting the key with your right hand, and with your left hitting that stupid tcs/dsc button. The car will thank you for it!
Nope, didn't get stuck. Drove sideways all the way to work!!! Only took me an additional 5min's from the norm. Not too shabby!

I was drivin to the train today in this crap and thought "So glad I'm not putting my 8 thru this yet again." Luv the beater with winters on...who gives a **** plow baby plow lmao.
AS for DCS I always drove with it on never a problem.

guess we know who to call if we need a tow.
i had no problems on my way to work. i stayed completely off main roads. its not the snowy/icey roads that concern me in this weather, its the other drivers. so, a snowy/icey side road is much safer in my opinion than a busy, plowed main road.
I did the obligatory drift out of my driveway, followed by a mock emergency stop once i got some speed to test the condtions. after that, it was smooth sailing.

4WD with the Matrix = no problem in the winter time.... of course acceleration is an issue though...lolz

Can't put the power down to all the wheels if you don't have power to begin with? Hehe.
Had no trouble at all this morning, other than dealing with backups from other people having trouble
I don't live in Ontario, but conditions are pretty much identical around Edmonton.
+1 to the other drivers. I saw a PT Cruiser trying to turn right at an intersection get stuck in the chaff that had accumulated on the side of the road.

Wow, the snow really SUCKED today! I almost got stuck going out of the driveway since those a** hole snow shovelling companies that shovel the snow for my neighbor across from us plowed their snow up right in front of our driveway!
On a another note, I think my all-season pirelli P6s have more grip than my stupid hankook winter tires! I really need to switch to better winters.

I've got into a argument with one of those a** hole snow shovelling companies guy's yesterday as I was shoveling my driveway for the exact same reason, he give me the bird and drove away. I feel for you.

wow, thats rude. the guy that does most of the houses on my street is really nice. we only have houses on one side though so it makes it easy for him. yestarday when i was leaving for work i went down the street and he had just started a driveway so he had pushed alot of snow across the road, but there were huge chunks that he had dragged onto the road. as i approached, he saw me, stopped what he was doing, rolled down his window to single me to "wait a minute". he quickly cleared the mess he had made on the road so i could pass by. good guy indeed.
