What type of cars is going to be there on that day? Number of cars on the track at one time? Rules?

Doesn't seem like a good scene for beginners....but great to come out to watch the PROs (if any) race ...lolz

There are all kinds of cars out those days, some fast some real slow, same rules as ours for passing. Usually not more then 15 -20 at any given time, last time we went he had a bad turn out to boot..................thats why I dont rent the track unless its prepaid! lol I dont know how many people it would take, so just let me know who is interested. ZmFnZm you didnt email me?

good call on the long weekend its a bit more money and a shitload more traffic. but i do find it more enjoyable to track with a wide variety of cars and drivers.

if you don't like people passing you in corners this probably isn't the event for you. your allowed to pass anywhere and not everyone waves you by or lifts off the throttle sometimes you really have to force the matter or put up with being held up.

i really feel this forces you to learn quick.

Real easy solution to the passing thing, if it gets too hairy for you drive down pit road and stop for a bit, they usually only drive like that for a few minutes at a time then slow back down. Also if you cant get past someone, pull down pit road when you get back out they are usually half a track away and you wont see them again.

Al,

I'm interested in attending. I might be coming with a friend who is interested as well. I'm waiting to find out if I need to work that day.

Cheers!

I may go now. I have a wedding Sunday and I might have to drive therefore no drinking so I won't be hung over for Monday.

Could I just bring the money to the track?

If we can get a confirmed group I can probably get us a lower rate than $160.00 I think we would need about 5+ people.

The weather forecast is never accurate these days, not until the morning of at least, and even then sometimes it's off. Hopefully it's sunny though
