We are going for a week with some friends and staying at The Royal Decameron Golf and Spa Resort,
Where exactly that is i have no idea....

Once the details are worked out we will come up with something. For marketing purposes to the USA I think "7 Stock North" should be the name!

"7 Stock North" sounds great...problem is from past experience, there are much less 7 owners in GTA than 8 owners and the show up rate is even lower...
I guess it makes sense to the folks in the south though. 7 Stock for US, 7 Stock North for the little Canada up there...

"7 Stock has morphed into a "all things Mazda or Mazda powered show these days" they get something like 2000+ cars when the weather is good! It really doesnt matter what you call it, it will just be a huge bash with lots of free food and cool cars, with hopefully lots of POSITIVE press coverage!

I dont think so, the Furai is not coming to Canada. The Dyson/Mazda Lemans car is coming to Canada for the ALMS race so it might work out with their travel plans. We have confirmed the Star Mazda team will be here! Remember they are RX8 powered!!!!!!!

Those cars are wicked in mosport when I was watching 22 of them racing last year....the rotary engine sound is just screaming like no tomorrow...

What when did this happen? I didn't pay attention to last years 7stock, but when I went 2 years ago, it was strictly Rotary. It was raining that weekend so only something like 500-600 cars showed up

Al is this 7stock north going to be open to all Mazda's? or just Rotaries?
I vote Rotaries only.
BTW "7 stock north" is an awesome name since EVERYONE has heard of 7 stock in California, it'd porobably get some attention from the eastern USA who wouldn't make the trip across the country to "7 stock south" lol.
I have some good freinds in NJ who have ALOT of RX-7's who might want to make the trip up.

If this event keeps growing, I'm going to seriously consider making the trip up from Nova Scotia.
Also, RPM (not sure who is posting) but get Joe to check his emails. I referred him somebody about a rebuild last weekend and I haven't seen anything back.

We really cant exclude anyone for the 1st show/event, especially with MNAO helping out. If its gets big enough maybe MCI might take notice...........lol I would love to see the rotary crowd dwarf all others though.............
