Just wondering how many guys from edmonton are on here. Do you guys have any meets that you go to in the summer?

 

I'm in Edmonton. I just bought my RX-8 last week, though. Love it so far and it's doing remarkably well in this blizzard with the winter grips on.

 

Nice, good to hear. I've been lucky enough to have mine in the dealership during all this. Unforunately even with the bizzard gone, it's still in there waiting for a part to come in. I've only had it for 2 days and put 200kms on it, but since the 4th it's been in the shop. I'm driving a loaner civic for now and I'm glad I was because I was on the whitemud eb at gateway when a piece of drywall flew up and hit the side of the civic. I'm glad I wasn't in the 8 when it happened.

What are you using for winter tires?

 

Yeah, I get nervous of flying rocks/objects on the Whitemud and Yellowhead.

I'm running Bridgestone Blizzak's WS-50 225/55/R17

They have been awesome, even during the nasty blizzard that came through.
