Hey, does anyone know about a remanufacturing factory here in Canada? I have been told by someone that they re-manufacture engines for the rx8 and rx7.

Any helps appreciated... The engines are totally refurbished and look like new.

Factory no, but there are shops that do this.

 

Apparently you send them your broken engine and they check it and refurbish it. It is the exact place where Mazda dealers send it. I just want to contact them direct.

Well if you do find it, let us know. There is a facility in Virginia, but not one in Canada, that I know.
Most shops work on this premise though: take your broken engine for parts, give you an engine built from the good parts of other engines.

 

We do rotary re manufacturing for Mazda dealers and individuals contact Derwin performance we have all the machine tools the only ones in Eastern Canada that re manufacture to original spec's or custom for your application we do not repair from worn parts they are refurbished and have all the original heat treatments and more call for more info
Hey Loki if you have been in rotary's since 2009 and do not know about or heard about us you have not been hanging out with the right guy's lol we are the ones that swapped the 13 rew in Max's rx8

 

I know you, I think we argued about oil on rxclubquebec at some point and I think I recommended you to someone here a few months ago.
Didn't realize you do rebuilds for Mazda directly. Not a service I have needed yet

We do not do mazda waranty engine's (lol they dont last) we do after waranty to dealers we have all the machinery to perform the work to properly reman an engine to spec heat treat and all we are the only one's to have this machinery in eastern canada thank's for the comment on max's car
