Hello, I am currently planning on buying a red rx8 in couple of months.... and i live in vancouver canada.
What i was wondering was. in canada. does the mazda dealers offer the same packages as the US?
For example im wanting a red rx8 with the red/blk leather int.
For that i would need to get the grand touring pkg.. unless im mistaken... Also the side air garnish(strakes) can be gotten at the dealership right?

there is no correlation AT ALL between packages offered in Canada versus those in the U.S. The marketing of the car here is completely different.

If by Grand Touring package you mean buying the GT trim line, then yes, you need to buy a GT version here in Canada in order to get leather.

Additionally, the garnishes you refer to are available from the dealer, along with alot of other accessories.

If you want to check out any 8's and options we have chosen, we are having a meet this saturday, you can have a good look, we are gonna be at the lansdwone mall parking lot in Richmond at 1130 am

make sure when getting your car, get any accessories then, and bargain for them as much as possible, they cost more after you drive off the lot,
