Possible Tech day at Whitby Mazda
 

I was just at the Whitby Mazda dealership where I bought my R3 and had a long discussion with the service manager about the RX8 club and he seemed quit interested.
I had gone on about the guys I've met and the amount of 8's that have showed up at the spring meet, and he made a suggestion about a possible tech day at the dealership.

This is what he had asked me,can I get a list of cars together before confirning any possible day or time so he could review.Seems like great way to drum up some business on his part and just another reason for us to get together.
John had told me about a Mazda 3 day they had in February that turned out quit well.

So if you guys and gals are interested sign up below,and I will forward this to him
to see what he comes up with.

Never been to a tech day before...what does it include?

I live in Markham but Im down. Pending on the date and time.

I can also bring my 2 buddies who drive rx8s. Also depending on date and time.

Sounds cool. I'd be in for something like that.

Not to sure what John has in mind for a tech day as of yet.
I guess he just wants to see if there is any interest before planning anything. I'll try to get some info from him and report back

when can we get some more info on this?

I'm going into the dealer tomorrow to check the cars suspension,I have some creeking happening in the mornings or after sitting for a few hours.
So this will give me a chance to put a bug in John's ear to see if he has come up with anything. I do hope to report back with some news.

Hey everyone,

My name is JD and I work at Whitby Mazda as a Service Advisor. Glen (G Man) called me and figured you could use an 'official' interlude from Whitby Mazda regarding the night.

I just wanted to pop in and add that I am still working on the details of this event with the service manager. Plans are to have the shop open later on a Tuesday or Thursday night, get a few cars on hoists and we can talk shop or what-have-you. Again, we are still ironing out some details.
