Pissed Off

I took my car out of storage today and noticed that my heater fan was not working. I decided to take the fan out to see if for some reason it was seized up. A bloody chipmunk had made a nest right on the heater motor, about 8 babies fell out and hell of a lot of straw etc. Now the roden has eaten my cabin filter, part of the plastic where the heater is and nibbled on the fins of the fan. At least the motor still works, i'm not sure how many parts I will need or how much it will cost me, it just pisses me off.

Damn...a mouse ate through my CAI filter and that cost me about 60 for the filter and 30 for the dealer to install it... That sucks...

you arent the first person man. when i used to work at a toyota dealer, every day we would see at least one cabin filter that had been turned into a nest. and i cant count the number of times that there have still been living mice still in there when you remove it.

Now to add insult to injury my wife laughed at me because I take extreme care of my car (it has never even seen rain) and this happens, and my oldest daughter is getting ready to feed the babies.
