I remember Greg and ... silver 8 guy.. tires squealing like mad from stop light when I went 2 years ago... 3 of us were stuck behind a slow SUV. That was fun :P

From my experience, best is to study/know the route well in-advance. Don't drive like a pansy, and stay with the group to the best of your ability. If you get cut off, try your hardest to rejoin the group.

*try your hardest*!!!

If you've ever driven with the rx7club people on their cruise, you will know.. you will need a lead foot and no-fear for cops to even remotely keep up with them.

Rxeckless, Scottish, and myself have had that experience!

yeah i remember that. lol. i think the other guy with us was saguine.

and yeah like footman said it is important that others know the route for sure. that really puts your mind at ease when following because if you get stuck at a light or soemthing you can catch them instead of possibly overshooting a turn.

Coming back from the USA cruise a few years back we had an incident. We had orignially planned to go through the tunnel on the way back, but as we waited for everyone at the border it was discussed that we would skip that as we were running late. a few people were still getting across the border and missed this discussion. when we got to the point where you would turn off to go to the tunnel, some did and some didnt. I was at the back and knew exactly what was going on so i decided to go off with the others that split off to straighten out the mix up. We managed no problem...well sorta. we caught all the traffic in southern ontario after that. lol

Honestly this is how large cruises go. and i wouldnt have it any other way. its nice to try and minimize the mix ups but they make it more interesting anyways. something to talk about when (if? lol) we reach our destination. I remember the fall cruise a few years back and we got split up into 3 seperate groups at one point after neos car died. It was a great time though, probably not for chris at that point, but i had a blast and will never forget any of it.

Anyways, im really sorry and sad i missed this one and im hoping you guys wont tell me to screw off if i try to tag along on any other such events in the future.

I vote for the same route. It was fun and long enough with appropriate rest stops and stations! We had the chance to sit and enjoy snacks and hot drinks during our first stop, and the second stop was a nice scenic area to do photos before heading back :D !

I'll only do it if there is sufficient interest. Similar format to the one I did in 2010.
So far there is only 2 people interested. I need minimum of 10.

This is a summer route this year.

If you want to see what the route is and how it goes exactly... all you gotta do is click on page 1 and read the first post. It's highly detailed there.

So let's start signing up people...

7 so far.... 3 more to go before official organization starts.

an F-150 CANNOT HANDLE the curves and the pace DEMANDED of Southwood Rd. 13, so therefore I'm afraid to say that if he/she wants to come, he/she will have to be at the back of the line and probably will be lost once the Southwood section begins. If he/she tries to keep pace, I am almost certain that F-150 will end up in the ditch in some of those curves on Southwood.

Don't mean to be snobby, but just saying the truth...

you should post a new thread for sign-up, because alot of people are not subscribed to this, and will not look into an old thread that says 2010
