Well, was driving home from work on Blundell in Richmond, was in the right lane, coming to a red light, when this lady in the left lane suddenly decides she needs the right lane. Next thing I hear something grinding, and I see her car too close, and I lay on the horn and brake. She has the audacity to imply that it might be my fault by stating that the police can come and make a decision. WTF???

Anywho, after done with her, call ICBC, am going to get it looked at on Tuesday, lots of scratches on the drivers door, including some which look like they went right through the paint. Any suggestions on a good shop close by South East Van/Vancouver/Burnaby for getting paint done, and maybe a minimal body work on the door, depending on how bad these scrapes are? One is wider than the rest, and deep, my camera sucks in dark (yup, need new camera, but paying deductable until this is resolved doesnt help that) so will try to take some pics tomorrow.

well if ICBC is paying for it.. try AK autoworks...they are stupidly expensive.. but if its coming out of her ICBC account.. who cares right??

 

ive been hit hit in richmond as well... stupid lady backed into my parking stall and hit my rear bumper...and then denied it!!! i swear!.

i hate driving there too many peeps there dont have legit licences either.. once i almost got smoke by a celica easily doing over 120 and ran a red light.. thank god for rain water on the soles of my shoes and metal pedals my foot slipped and i stalled at the light a split second later the ricer flys ahead of me!!

I'm really sorry to hear! I'm sorry I can't offer any valuable suggestions... (I'm mostly here to vent some old steam)

i just took my car to Craftsman Collision after my accident.... but then it was a pretty big accident... The shitty thing is that this accident would've never happened if that lady that turned left into me had a left turn signal.... (I was going straight, and she turned before i could slow down, so i T-Boned her...) And yeah... now at that intersection, they put a left turn signal.....

and the REALLY shitty thing is that she said she's never been in an accident! So her crash was probably a freebie!!!! It stings knowing that she didn't really have to pay!

 

That was what this lady said too, but her car has dings, dents, and scratches all over...

 

Wow, the lady accepted blame for it, so, no cost.... perfect, but, the damage looks worse, door is dented, scratched, and a crease close to the front edge of the door, as well as a minor dent into the front quarter panel... so... that sucks, taking it to Wolfe on Boundry next tuesday.

 

good to hear.. how is wolfe mazda in terms of service.. i am getting annoyed with Metrotown because they wont do the battery replacement etc.. and ive almost flooded my engine 50 times.. with the latest flash.

 

I will let you know how they are after next week, I have done most of my servicing at Signature, and they have been great to me, but its a little further away to drop it off for repairs, so, thought I would get it done closer to home.

 

Now I know why traffic gets so bad down here in the winter time. :o
