I just took delivery (Monday night) of an '06 Galaxy Grey Mica RX8 GT with moonroof, and haven't stopped smiling since! Well maybe I stopped smiling for a little bit when I got pulled over for speeding only 1.5hrs after I left the dealership (it was a hefty one!). Anyway, I've been lurking around the forums for some time now, and finally got my 8. I really don't know why it comes with a Bose sound system, all I want is to listen to the sweet engine! I've been being a good boy, and keeping the revs around 4-5k, however I did hit 6k once or twice. I've racked up over 300kms so far and want to have the "1000km break-in" done by the weekend. After that, I'll get the oil changed and start driving the car the way it should be driven. Too bad I missed the GTA meet this past weekend, but I hope to come out to the next events. Are there any local meets that happen on a regular basis? I've read about the Mosport event, and the Ottawa cruise but I was curious to know if there's anyone who meets and cruises on a regular basis.

Sorry for the long post, I'll be posting pictures as soon as I figure out how (yes, I'm a technical genius!). Looking forward to meeting some of you, and taking our cars for a good cruise!
