Hi everyone,

Are there any local meets in the GTA fro RX-8s? I used to see a few at Kennedy Commons every now and then.

I'm Mike BTW. I'm new to this site, but not cars forums or modding.

There's normally a small meet every couple of weeks (so far this year in anycase).. normally they're a bit further up north around hwy-16 er something (Jay's lazy).. but every now n again they'll pop up in Scarbria ('cause Andrew is also lazy).

And on that note....

Who's got some new parts to install? We all have to meet up at Jay's again n scare his neighbours and his mom

The meets up at 16th are probably at Woodbine. That is pretty close to my house.

Hey Darkbrew, gonna grab your fluids next week. Maybe we can do a meet at your place for just fluids during the week or the weekend. Met up with Neo and Thief yesterday, getting parts for them, so we might do an install meet second weekend I August. If you don't want to wait that long, we could do a weekend fluid swap meet or I could come by during the week with the fluids, just need to get yourself a oil drain. Maybe Thunder will be interested for a mid week meet.

 

We need to do the clear corner meet + LED bulb swap meet... i'm down for dat shiet..

dude... I've been away in the US for the past week. Was in Scottsdale AZ fer a bit (dropped by yet another Rotary Park :p)... then flew into San Fransico.. drove up the 101 to Eureka and then drove down the 1. Even though I was in a rental PT it was still one of -the- best roads I'd ever driven on. Pretty much picture any car commercial with winding roads by the ocean and you have that drive.

Anyways.. I'm back now.. so.. free to meet whenever :P

 

Are we going to have a group buy on the clear corners? or LED?

the leds you guys are talking about are obviously for the rears, right?

 

I got the PM, but was out of town.

I'd be interest in the clear corners for sure. Also, the LEDs, are these the kind that mess with your relay and make your car think a bulb is blown out?

 

nvx: The rear is major bling bling and I think most of us are either poor students or graudate students with 50k loan for their MBA/CA/etc...

So the answer is: No. :P

 

haha.. my condo is starting to charge $3 per car wash bay usage now...
perhaps someday, they'll start charging $0.50 per use of the elevator to go home

The VR one you see at Kennedy Commons is probably me. I'm 5 minutes from that place, and I'm often there hanging out in the parking lot hehehehe

 

When (if?!?) I ever get to pick up my car, I'll come by sometime when you are there. I am free Mon-Wed basically every week when not travelling for work.
