Hey everyone,

Sadly, after almost 3 years on this board I am leaving the rotary world! Thanks for the advice etc. and I wish you all the best with your 8's! Keep the rotors spinning and I will drop in now and then to read the latest on your 8's, to laugh at rotten's comments and to smile at Gord replying to another winter tire thread.

Cheers.

M

Sorry to hear that you are leaving. Why are you getting rid of the 8?

Thanks for the notes guys. I have loved the car, it ran strong the entire time with only a few hick-ups. Alas, the combination of the return to Vancity with its crazy housing prices and sh**ty roads, ending warranty and imminent change to my family size made it difficult for me to justify having a $40K sports car! Unfortunately, I am not the type to have an expensive car that sits and a cheap putter for running around. So, she's gone. I picked up a (don't laugh too hard) new fully loaded Jetta TDI, which my wife will take in about 18-24 months when I can find a slightly used IS350. If Mazda ever brings back the RX-7 you can expect to see me in another rotary, one day, sigh.
