GTA Trusted Rotary Mechanics
Hey everyone, I want to do a compression test on my R3, I bought it used in October. I am not worried about lost compression as there was only 14k on it when I bought it. I just want to get baseline so I know where I stand. My dealership is dragging it's heels on doing it for me so I would like to know if anyone has any recommends for a place to go?

.... Sooooo should I assume there are none?

Why not just tell your dealer to book it? If it's a service you're paying for I don't understand how they're dragging their heels?
Just say "schedule me in for a compression test." They should reply, "yes sir, we have X times available, when would you like to bring it in? The service is X dollars." Then you tell them when you'd like to bring it in. |
They don't have a tester, they say they will borrow one from another dealership, that was 2 months ago... I have called 3 times now to just "schedule me in for a compression test"
I think that classifies as dragging heels... But you are right, that IS how it should have went.... it didn't, so I would like to find a place where that is how it WILL go... hence the thread asking about trusted rotary mechanics... |
