Well, are you guys going to be heading back into T.O. later in the day??

I was hoping the weather would hold up for tomorrow, unfortunately...

If we can meet somewhere around T.O. later in the day that'll be nice....

We could meet at our usual meet place... Dave and Busters for around 2-3pm??

Two meets for the price of two?

Here's what I propose. Those interested in going for a straightforward drive through a rural setting, have your butt at the 403/Bronte Tim Hortons for 10am Sunday morning.

Those interested in a 'parked' meet (or who just can't make 10am,) go to Dave & Busters around 2pm to 3pm. Dave & Busters is at 400 and Hwy 7.

I have yet to attend an RX-8 meet at D&B's that either started or ended in a cruise (other than a few hardcore guys, all of whom drive RX-7s...) There's nothing wrong with the D&B meets, but given the choice I'd rather go driving rather than just say Hello.

I'm going to the Tim Hortons at 10am. I'll see how long the cruise lasts and how I'm feeling afterwards before deciding about D&B's...

Hey Amur... it's not the 403 and Bronte..it's at the QEW and Bronte .. with your 8 .. 5 minute difference...
Live in Kitchener ha...got to meet up in St. Jacobbs one day... great place..you never race those Mennonites I hope..

Just looked at the Weather Network's site for Milton.

Looks like a mixed bag with no significant rainfall. Less than 1mm in the morning (barely spitting) and partly sunny in the afternoon. A hell of a lot better than what we got at Mazda HQ last time.

I can understand not wanting to bring an FD, but there's no reason not to bring an 8 out.

Actually, it's QEW/403 from that insane interchange below Kerns Road eastward until it splits above the Ford plant...

Hey I just noticed the Mapquest map and it says the 403 .. thats bogus ..it should say the QEW.... can we get our money back ?

Daaaaaaa... not sure where you going with that..If I was coming from Kitchener I'd come along the 401 and go down Guelph line...nice along there..and then when you hit the QEW go east until you hit Bronte road...

Hey Shamblerock... Good to see you and Mic Jagger... The weather wasn't the greatest but at least we got to know each other a bit...

Too bad more people couldn't make it... Then again, now's not the greatest time to be making up meets... Rest assure next season will be fantastic!

I'd say it was a damn good meet despite the modest turnout.

Funny how the cruise turned out to be a formation of One.

Got to drive an 8 for the first time, for one. That was the most remarkable automatic I've ever driven. I wish I had more time to train myself to get the most out of those paddles. Congrats on the car, Mic. :bigthumb:

A pleasure to meet you as well, Shamblerock. Hope we didn't make you too late.

I don't think there'll be another big meet until the Winter Beater Meet, which is usually in January. Stay tuned...

Where Do I Start ... Five Star For Sure...

That was a fun day guys ... on a scale of 1 to 10 it was a 15 for me....
Don't know where to start... Let's try this one...
Amur .. you taught me about the Rotary Fraternity .. **** never knew one existed..
Said to you I've only seen 3 RX8's since I got mine ... had no idea what a 7 was ... forget about anything before that ..
Well wouldn't you know God decided to test me today ..
Doing 124 or so on the 407 coming home from work today and I see a red in my rearview.. he's on top of it ... blows it by me doing 135 or more I'm sure.. but guess what ? He gives me a thumbs up and I do the same back..
Loved it ... Now I know and have experienced the rotary..
Same time though Amur .. I'm looking out for pre 8's big time... want to know what the heck they look like and give those guys a big thumbs up..
Thanks a lot guys... and sorry about this summer stuff to all you whoosies.. why stop for winter .. put your snowies on ... jump in your VW, 6, **** box GM and lets keep meeting..

Sounds like a great meet. looks like Mic is now hooked for life!! Sorry i went MIA, ends up i stayed in london all weekend, and studied. tough break, but at least i had the 8 here, for "study breaks" hahahaha. Hopefully we can get a meet together soon, maybe a "snow meet" like Mic said.
