Last night I was driving in Richmond stopped behind 2 cars at a stop light.
Lined up at the traffic light Grand Prix grid on the left is a last gen civic hatchback with aftermarket wheels and exhaust and on its right is a last gen lowered mustang. The mustang owner seems pissed off at the honda (cut him off ealier? I don't know since I wasn't there earlier) and the mustang floored his gas and did a little smoke out for 2 feet then stopped at the red light. The honda also started revving its engine waiting for the light to turn green.
Being a responsible citizen and wanting to difuse this situation, I quickly gave my 8 a quick rev to 9k rpm in an attempt to show the 2 that what they are doing is pathetically funny (they stand no chance to a RX8 hahahahahaahahaha :p ). After I reved for half a sec and went to idle, the 2 cars stopped their reving and then the light turned green LOL
But both did a smoke out anyway and I slowly rolled forward from idle to follow them with cell phone in hand in case things got out of hand. But then I think they got the msg and both just slowed down once they hit 60...
ah yes.... green light gran prixs of Richmond.... LOL
