I think i read that the wire for the light was a little loose on all of them. Try searching in aftermarket performance, i think someone showed how you can fix it.

I'm sure it can be fixed, most everything can unless it is all sealed up with glue. Heck I just took apart my palm pilot and soldered on the power connector and fixed it.

^^^ Whatever, yo. We all ganstas on the board, khtm.

Yea, like Kart Racer said, I also seem to remember reading that the wiring on the JDM shift ***** were a bit screwy.

Replacing your S's with Z's is not cool. Nor is spelling your "ur". Oh, and spelling you as U went out last decade.

You mean... "Thanks, it's just to make it easy to type. Whatever, I'll try to change it."

Once you learn how to type properly, and not like an elementary school reject (because, well, you learned how to spell all those words properly in elementary school right?) you'd be amazed to find that people actually care about what you have to contribute. Sure spelling and grammar mistakes are ok on online forums, but the gross butchery of the english language in your post (and english seems to be what this forum uses as a standard language for communications) is embarrassing to me as a fellow Canadian.

If you continue to "learn" to type incorrectly (every post you make you're teaching yourself how to type incorrectly), it will make it harder to type correctly when you need to.

the reason i replace the letter 's w/ 'z is just because all my friends' chatting on msn are like that, and using 'z is to remind people who is reading .. it is a abbreviation.

If all your friends jumped off a bridge, that wouldn't make replacing S's with Z's right would it?

But seriously, wow, you CAN type in english! SO much easier to read.

As for the Shifter you're talking about, I was looking at one as well. Where did you purchase it from? Any pictures of it?

Leave the poor guy alone I only started typing properly as of me starting to write much more essays a month. If i write like a slob here I do it by habit when im typing my essays. So I try my best to stay as punctual as possible.

"You are better off installing this yourself. its very easy to do. .. and yes just cut the wires and solder on a new braided one.. but if you install it yourself as per the instructions it will not break.. unless you take the **** of allot. and even then you just have to make sure to never bend that wire very tight at all... don't let it twist around the shift lever while turning it .. don't wiggle the wire around .. Heat applied to a copper wire will make it break very fast.

If you do install it yourself you only have to pop out the center cover that the boot is attached to and then you have to take out 2 screws that hold in the ash tray.. the new **** plugs into the ash tray light circuit..

I would think that if you take it to the dealer to get installed it will surely come back broken in some way. maybe not the ****. but they may break or scratch any number of things installing it.
