Finally pulled trigger on winter car...

Bought a White 2008 VW GTI. It's no RX8 but for a winter car, I'll take it

Time for some more modding...

Yeah man... sounds good. I guess the plan is for Dim Sum next weekend if I follow correctly.

the GTI is a mean lil' bugger as well... get it chipped and those things have just as much HP as Torque... not sure how they go around corners... but they're speedy lil' basterds.

^ Mine beats them all, a 2004 Vibe with automatic. Zero to Sixty in about 12 seconds, what piece of crap and to boot it has torque steer! figure that!

It good to see Thunder & Darkbrew are still around, have not seen you guys posting for awhile. Must be nice to have a 2008 GTI as a winter beater!

I was at JRP today. For $530, the cost of a modified chip, I can add 50 HP and 60 pounds of tourque!!! I'll probably have that chip installed before I go home from the dealership... LOL

ya rx8thunder, its the beauty of turbo...my 1.8T with the same I/H/E + chip mod boost it from 150hp to 227hp...193whp at the front wheels.

Yours should be at least 240hp/240tq!

Cant turn for **** compare to rx8 tho :P
