engine rebuild montreal

Anyone close to montreal that could aventually show me the steps to rebuilding the rx8 engine. and maybe a list of tools i need to get beforehand.

Why do people think they can build their own engine and then ask what tools they need? If you can't even figure out what tools you need on your own, DON'T TOUCH IT.

Well wonder who the real ass is here the guys who cant read *TheWird*

#1) FFS i asked for somebody to show me the steps that does not sound like me wanting to do it all alone.

#2) Im asking for the tools needed. So i can have them when i find somebody to help me. And not have to wait 2weeks on shipping.

#3) if you got nothing helpful to say why don't you just Shut the *$#% Up. Bloody hater

I think thewird was trying to explain that if you don't know what tools you'll need now before you even consider rebuilding the engine, then it's already a lost cause. It implies you haven't done your homework and it's not as easy and straightforward as you think.

If you still feel compelled to do this, I would highly suggest you purchase Mazmarts rotary rebuild DVD or something similar to give you step by step instructions, a list of all the tools you'll need, and other techniques and ultimately, what you are getting in to. It takes more finesse to rebuild these engines rather than just any old monkey piecing together a puzzle as you would with a piston engine.

there we go can always count on you Stealth :) thats basically the info i wanted to start off with.
im a very dedicated person and plan on keeping my rx8 for ages to come. so learning the engine rebuild is something i plan on learning no matter what. i also plan on buying one that is already blown to test the rebuild. wont be doing this on my main rx8 until i get a few rebuilds done. But thx for the info on the DVD ill go give it a look :) and deff buy it
