Not sure how much he charges. But one of my brother's friends got a dent when someone from a parking lot hit his car. Honda wanted to charge him $700 for a 10 hour job. My friend fixed it for $60 in a half hour.

FYI: The hood, doors, and roof are made of alluminum and it is extremely hard to get dents out of alluminum...hate to be the bearer of bad news.

Skperformance hosted a small car meet a year or 2 ago at Dent Clinic.
A bunch of us made out there to get our dents removed. I had all my dents on my FD removed that day. And if anyone knows how difficult it is to get dents of the FD doors and quarter panels, it's us FD owners! :)
Took the guy 20-25 minutes to remove 10 dents. My car looks good as new! And these were dents from when I picked up the car 11yrs ago.

I hope he's still in business. I've seen the guy remove a very awful dent on a Mazda3. The entire passenger door right down the middle was dented! Looked like he might have hit a very sharp door or something. It was creased badly. But the guy took it out in 35 minutes. I thought the door had to be replaced the dent looked so bad. The guy is pure magic!

Send me a PM if you want details.

Neo I'd like the info... :)

Leesha,

Give these guys a try. They fixed a dent on my passenger-side door made by a moron teenager with an audi a5 who doesn't know how to park...

http://www.dentwizard.com/

They dispatch guys either to your house or to a dealership. If you go to a dealership for Dent Wizard, pick an upscale one- ie like Lexus or BMW or Mercedes.

Let us know how it goes...

Ah that makes sense. When changing the oil a couple of days ago I opened the door, but didn't want to get in because I was dirty. I dinged the edge of the door against a shelf in my garage. I have done far worse to two other cars in the same garage with no issues.

Maffu313 04-15-2009 12:38 PM

Neo, can you PM me the details? I need a big huge dent removed from the left rear fender. Some bum hit my car while I was parked inside some underground parking lot downtown, the dent is about two inches or so, is that too big? or is it fine?

Leesha;

Saw this on YouTube ... so who knows how well this really works. But considering that there is such a low cast to this it could be worth the try. I think this depends on where the dent is on your car in order for it to work! Hey! Give it a try ... nothing to lose!

Thanks for all the options. I am looking into a few & will let everyone know the outcome. I was told that the rear doors where my dent from the asshole is are difficult to get to. So we shall see...

Blue Steel 04-22-2009 08:37 AM

Hi all, relatively new to this forum (only had my 8 since January), and wondering if anyone has managed to take small dents out from the rear door. (I got a dent last week from parking in Bayview Village; I had a premonition that it would happen....I hate that parking lot).

After doing a search, I hear conflicting opinions on whether or not its required for them to drill a hole in order to facilitate PDR...just want to know if anyone managed to get this accomplished without hole drilling, and where I can go for that as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks in advance!!!

If they have to drill, it's not paintless dent removal. It's old-school bodyshop work.

I had Dent Wizard (I think they are the largest international chain for this stuff) take a dent out of my door once a few years ago after I went through the timing lights at an auto slalom sideways, and they did a great job. Took and hour, hour and a half, but there was no sign of it afterwards.

Blue Steel 04-22-2009 05:07 PM

Normally I wouldn't be concerned, its only because the dent is on the rear door which is apparently 3 sheets of aluminum with no access points for their tools, so taking off the inside panels may not work in this case; moreover, the windows are flip out so they can't even squeeze their tools into the window crack like on the front doors.

Leesha, let me know how it goes...thanks!
