Took my car to do the oil change and recall. The found my pad with 2mm (5% left) and same as rotor. I don't understand what does the 2mm rotor mean? Of coz they offer the service for 750+ for after market and 820 for original parts. I took the car to other shop I know of and they said at least 15% left. I have option to machine the rotor or change it. He said usually they change the rotor for performance car. They quote me 370 for pad and machine or 600 for both pad and rotors.

The delimma is if I change the rotor and pad, I don't want original parts. Any one have suggestion of this combo? and how much in Toronto. If you have reference of shop, please PM me.

If anyone can give me other option will be greatly appreciated.
