Brake light

I noticed the last 2 days my break light has been coming on while im driving and staying there and then a few minutes later going away. When i slam my brakes the light comes on again. Any Ideas whats causing this the handbrake is down.

I had this problem. It went away after I changed my brake pads.

What happens is I think that the brake fluid is getting lower because the pistols are farther out because of the brake pad ware.

NO!!!! Dont do that!!!

Never top up your brake fluid, if the level is low it is most likely because your brake pads are worn out and the calipers have almost fully extended themselves. Change the pads first, your brake fluid level should return to the full line when you compress the calipers.

Thank you!!

I hear of so many people topping it up when all it is, is an indication that the pads need changing! Drives me crazy! Just makes a mess you don't remove any when you do change the pads!
