Bank Street Mazda-- no compression test?
After verifying with their appointment clerk that they do indeed do compression testing, I left my car with them for the day to have my engine tested. However, when I go to pick it up, I'm told that they don't have the equipment to do it. Does that seem strange to anyone?
For a company that makes a car like ours, would it not make sense to have the proper equipment at all the dealerships? So does anyone know of a dealership in Ottawa or the surrounding area that has the right equipment? |
emm.. .have you checked the Ottawa forum? (ottawamazda.ca). I think I recall a bunch of them saying Elite Mazda was pretty good... though you'll wanna check that site to confirm. :)

They should perform a vacuum test which tells them similar information.

Elite Mazda is definitely the dealership recommended by most people on the Ottawa Mazda Club forums (ottawamazda.ca).

+1 for Elite Mazda... make sure you join up on ottawamazda.ca as well!
If you want to save some cash, I have a compression tester on order that should be here by the end of the month and we will be doing a "compression test meet". |
