Ouch, glad he's okay.

That's a Kit car right? Not a genuine Cobra?

I was once working corners for a Shelby Club event at Road America (Turn 9 -The Carousel). A authentic 1967 GT350 slid off track, the wheels caught in the grass and the car rolled. When the driver got out all he could say was "My dad is going to kill me. My dad is going to kill me......."

Yes it was a kit car, but even still he would probably have at least 50K + tied up in it.

holy ****-- First I am glad that the guy is ok. He is one lucky guy.
but what a cluster.
Dont know where to start--improper safety equipment on car and improper rescue technique by staff.

This is a great vid to show newbies of why you need arm restraints if you have and open cockpit car.
Jesus --he is a lucky man.

You wouldn't think that would happen to an OEM wheel.
