audio adjustments

Please disregard (everyone has anyway) my thread re: subwoofer amp options. I've plodded through and decided to go with a single 10" bassworx box, JBL GTO 1020D sub and a JBL GTO301 amp. I'll let everyone know how it works out. The great thing is the box allows those of us who want to preserve something of a trunk to do so without suffering with the bose 6X9s in the rear.

I've tried to go through the old threads for suggestions on the door speakers. I hear Morel's are a good fit but am interested in hearing from anyone who's changed either the upper door tweeters or the door speakers. I'm not into doing a wholesale install (in the kicks etc). I just want to change to some cleaner component speakers to bring out some clearer mid and high notes. I hear the upper tweets are poorly aimed (downwards).

Again, any suggestions or comments are much appreciated. Thanks.

Your setup sounds good - that's similar to what I'm looking into, too. From what I've read, apparently the "upper door tweeters" are actually really small mid-range speakers though....fvcking Bose!

Which bassworx box are you getting? (like from their catalogue at http://www.bassworx.com/BassCatlgUSint.pdf And are you sure it will fit? Where abouts are you putting it in the trunk? Any other suggestions you can give (like where to mount the amp) would be appreciated.
