well, after weeks of smack talking, I think it's now time to put up or shut up!!!! :D

I say we first meet at the krispy kreme in mississauga and then cruise over to formula kartways and separate the men from the boyz.

Can someone post directions for everyone?

The round up will be at krispy kreme between 7-8pm

so who's in?

Actually, I am heading off to Montreal on Thuesday morning. Trying to set something up with Dan for a round of golf that morning and then heading to Monrtreal immediately after the round. So I'll miss this event.

Neat thing happened today. I was at the Airshow yesterday, a guest of Boeing. [You shoulda seen the 18 year old goddess serving drinks!] Spectacular and so was the performance by the Snowbirds. Then damned if I wasn't out on my back deck around 11:00 am this morning and they were flying past in diamond formation, right overhead.They do a triple fly past tribute on the opening day over Michael VandenBos Public School here in Whitby in honour of one of their colleagues, Capt. Michael VandenBos, who was killed in a training exercise a few years back Awesome.

If only my little fuijicam were telephoto capable!

I would love to come out and show you why VR drivers are the shit, but I have work that night too. Sorry about that as I love Formula kartways (member since 02). Maybe next week.

I'm in only if there are enough people for proper races and heats.
If not - it is just not that much fun to just race around the track without any finish.
Especially if there are really slow people on the track.

That was the poorest display yet... only 4 people total showed up... So we scraped the go-kart thing till next week...

The rest of the RX's were at Formula Kartway ( another 5 people) . The description of meeting at Krispy Kreme wasn't quite clear as to which one so we ended up gathering at the track. We waited but ... we ended up carrying on with out.

Well four of us ( three from the East end plus Helas) headed over to the track area thinking that there must be a Krispy Kreme by the track. I think you and your group were afraid of getting beat:D

Its the end of the cruising season and its a week night so I'm not keen on the Go Kart thing unless it was on a Friday night or Saturday night and I can beat Neo butt several times in a row. I'll need a few hours for that. Just would prefer to shoot the shit with the guys instead, I guess.

Well I think DarkMz8 is out of town and he usually announces the meets. I would announce it but I am usually a late arrival at the meets. But if one of you is gonna be around by 8pm just announce it and they will come. Announce on both the 7 and 8 club.
