Anywhere but Autotrader..
Hi folks,
I've trying to find myself an 8. Other than this board (which is setup so it's rather hard to find Canadian cars) and Autotrader, does anyone have suggestions where I can find an 8? Thanks! Cheers, Spin |

They have the largest selection of vehicles posted for sale in ontario and it seems to be such a convenient service. If I could offer some advice... First, find a good mechanic who specializes in vehicles with rotary engines because a used vehicle is still just that "used"and no matter where or whom you purchase from, you would want to make sure that its not a lemon. :) |
Why not just drive around local Mazda dealerships and find a used one on the lot

Oh, I'm just looking for alternatives to Autotrader. I prefer buying privately since I get to meet the previous owner and save the GST. I've been trying to find other Canadian RX-8 sites, but out of the ones I've found, only this board has any traffic. :)
Know of any good rotary mechanics in the GTA? |
They have both dealer and private listings on Autotrader .....

Autotrader should give you a start on the asking prices, both dealer and private. That should come handy when you're looking to put down the $$$.
If you're looking to go private, on a relatively rare car like the 8, it will take you some time and diligence to find someone through regular channels (i.e. newspaper, local papers, local car trader mags). |
Got mine on Leasebusters.com ... that's if you would go the lease route.

If u are leasing. Then nothing beats the deals that come up on leasebusters.
