Anybody Familiar With Pulling Engines/Putting Em In

I'm PROBABLY buying an engine for my rx8 (2009+) soon. As such I'm debating between paying a shop to put it in (800-1800 range from what I've heard) or putting it in myself.

Is anyone around Kitchener/Waterloo/St.Catharines/Stoney Creek/London/Missisauga familiar with pulling/putting engines out/in? I'd probably be willing to drop 400-600 for your time. But I'd need a place to work and an engine hoist. Otherwise I'm renting/buying a hoist and doing this **** myself. Lol.

FYI, Joe announced yesterday that he was shutting down RPM again to take a job with Mantella Autosport.

Perhaps Marco "thewird" could take it on.

As an aside, 230,000km on a 09? Wow. Good stuff.

Marco and Joe are worth everything they request. It's also their business - so you're not going to get the price that a backyard mechanic would offer.

Gfx Automotique in Brampton is also a great rotary shop. They worked on James Kutschke's PP RX-7 which ran in the top 3 places at CSCS for the last couple of years.

Sounds good. I've got a couple options now which I appreciate. Now comes the hunt for a low km series II 13b or a wrecked low km series II... woooo...

Keep the recommendations coming if you know anybody else.
