Best car wash in Montreal
For those interested, I take my RX-8 here in Ville St-Laurent; they do a great, very careful and thorough job every time. They've also fixed scratches - just like new.
Esthetique Automobile
12000 Lachapelle
They work 8AM to 8PM every day except if it rains or snows.

thanks, i scratched my side door with a hockey stick while using that stick to get the snow off my tempo roof this winter. i had the rubberish black of the tape off the paint but there's still a mark that i hope will go away with a buffer or something.

They'll take care of it. There was a deep set of scratches on my front drivers side near the headlight (don't know how it happened, must've hit some gravel-packed snow). They got rid of it with no problem in about 6 extra minutes of work after the usual wash & wax.

Thanks for the Car Wash location. I'll keep it in mind (perhaps also for my wife's car). I live nearby in Bois Franc.
I'm not sure about the wax part, though. I just put 3 coats of Zaino on it as well (in one afternoon, 2 hours total effort, 4 hours elapsed). It's really, really easy (much easier than wax), but you really have to get the car spotless before you start. It was the prep work that took the longest.

I should have specified, when I say they put on wax, for my car they use the spray-on "Power Wax" made by Turtle Wax. Some drivers have them use the paste, rub-on & polish type.
