** 2006 Ottawa Meet **
 

Im passing on the information, the more rotary the better :).


It's almost time for the annual Ottawa Meet! There will be a couple changes this year that will hopefully improve what is already a great meet (when it doesn't rain!).


WHEN: **May 20-21st long weekend**

As usual, the meet kicks off with a show and shine on MAY 20th around 2PM. We will be holding this at the Kanata Recreational Complex again this year instead of the Corel Center. There are restaurants nearby (for the Quebec guys).

On MAY 21st, we will be holding our annual cruise starting at the CUMBERLAND/MASSON FERRY (Ontario side) at 9AM. The cruise will be shortned this year to give out of towners time to get home and hopefully slow speeds down. Expect the cruise to last 3-4 hours as opposed to the usual 6+.

This is an RX meet, but it is open to all Mazdas.

This is the meet to go to guys. If you've got a weekend to spare and some gas money and accomodations it's gonna be a kickass time.

Regardless, guys, you need ot set your calendars for this event! You don't want to miss the season opener... :cool:

Lots of RX8s Quite a few guys from montreal are also comming so will be a nice full lot for sure.

Well, the rest of you RX-8 guys missed a great cruise!! Despite the weather the event was a memorable one!

Big props go out to Galaxy_8!! He was the only RX-8 to represent the GTA!!

Like Neo said, the Ottawa meet/cruise was fantastic!! I've been home for a little over 24hrs, and I'm still smilin' from ear to ear!! Great people, great cars and great cruisin! What else could you ask for (besides having had some sunshine, ha, ha!)! You 8's definitely have to clear your schedules for next year's meet, you won't want to miss it! I know I'm already booking my May weekends for the Ottawa meet next year. I hope to see you guys this weekend, so I can brag a bit more about how good of a time I had in Ottawa!
