Same for me, except it's for Houston, TX and I'm interested in the 18x9.5 +45mm set.

I've been coming back to this thread for over two years now. At 20k I'm finally about ready for new sneakers and these lightweight Enkei wheels have really intrigued me (confession - I already 'run' them in Xbox Forza2).

My sole concern, as a daily driver, is if they're really too wide at 275?

Negligible add'l shock due to very low 35 profile?

Also, the Falken FK's appear to be the better "touring" option?

I understand the 18x9.5 rims are plenty to support the width.

TIA

I have them (FK452 275's) as a daily here in AZ and love them however; I'm not sure about New England roads.

Huey52 11-14-2008 10:23 AM

Thanks, our secondary roads can be poor due to seasonal post-frost heaves and road wear from generally heavy traffic. Fortunately I'm mostly on good highway or lesser used country roads which are pretty good as well.

So, your implication is that they are more shock-y due to the lesser sidewall/volume of the 35 profile?

btw: I of course wouldn't run these in winter (I have a Jeep for that).
