well here it is after saving all those big bucks for the real thing all the way from japan

fitment is perfect, can't tell apart from stock parts and quality is top notch, like a thousand screws and bolts you have to out on :)

love it so far

as u can see i only have front and sides, plan to get rear and wing later :o

u dont wanna scratch the front bumper... otherwise you will cry. one scratch = 50 bucks!

looks good. the best thing about the mazdaspeed kit is that it has clean lines and looks good from most angles. some kits look like they are designed in one dimension and don't work with the rest of the car.

Are you nervous about cutting up the rear bumper to install the MS rear?

NVMYGT, that is monopoly dollars, so about 3K USD.

ZEPHYR, does that include parts, shipping, painting and fitting? I think that is good value if it does...not that I can afford it but good value none the less.

I really like the MS kit too but I'd be really nervous about day to day driving with a front skirt that low. Imagine, all that money and time only to rip the damn thing off by driving into a driveway somewhere without thinking! :eek: :eek:

That is the same kit as on the Mazda Australia turbo cars correct?? Guess I'll have a closer look at the Nats! ;)

Judging how much stone clip I have in the front bumper after a few track days - I will not buy a body kit ever....

I think I can actually tell genuine kit from the copy ones - by just looking at the picture! :p

auzoom, the MazdaSpeed genuine kit is painted at the factory.

???? I thought the Mazdaspeed bumper is debadged? Did you install the Mazda badge onto the bumper or did it come like that?

its not difficult to put the badge on

yes i brought the badge separately then cut the bits sticking out from the back off then stuck it on.

the front bumper is actually 2cm lower than stock and is 11cm from the ground, but i still manage to get over all the bumps and driveways easy:) but since i know how to take care of the bodykits from my previous car, so it wasn't that hard. (always reverse park :p

the cost i mentioned included all the shipping and tax as well, and the kit came in 2 big boxes wrapped in sheets with jap manuals and ready to go, i installed it my self as well. the side skirts required to drill 8 holes all together into each side and bottom parts, and it required to cut up the skirt protectors on each side.

but got it all done in one day since i never done anything like this before:)

and i did heard about the rear requiring having to drill extra holes is well, but will see when i get that later on.

with the replica we did, the lower section has to be cut (ie. remove) and mould it onto the factory rear bar

cut? what did you cut it with? how and why? i only thought you had to remove the lower section then drill new holes to put the new one on...

sounds interesting i might have to get someone else to do this then :p

i just found english manual to the rear bumper installation!

OMG, the rear lower section of the bumper needs to to be hack sawed in half!!!

was cutting the rear difficult?

cutting isnt difficult if you have a proper tool..... a compressor and air cutting saw does wonders.
if not, hand held hack saw will do the job, but alot slower ;)
