Stupidly, I managed to fit a piece of 6mm glass in my back seat, 680x850mm with no issues... All wrapped up of course...

LOL. I've got a couple of 2.something long metal tubes through the passthrough with the boot lid shut.

How did you find the car with the boot open - did it suck much in the way of fumes back in the car?

Nah, no fumes at all SCO. Mind you, it was only a 10 min trip.

Maybe I should change this thread to "What's the stupidest thing you have carried in your 8"... I think the pane of glass is up there in the stupidity stakes...
