Where to purchase RX8 Exterior Mods in Australia?
 

Hi everyone,

i’m having a little bit of trouble locating exterior body kits and other ext mods to purchase in australia. i was wondering if you guys knew of any local websites or places located here that make Ext mods for the RX8. i’m aware of some foreign websites eg Mazda Speed but i’m looking for something a little more local if possible or that will ship to Australia. throw me links and or Names if you have any! located near Sydney if that’s any help!

You could try https://www.jsai.com.au/ which are NSW based. They mainly have fiberglass replicas of the Mazdaspeed body parts. I ordered my sideskirts from them about 4 years ago and they began manufacturing them right away... I believe it took about 10 days for the parts to get made and delivered to me in WA and it cost me about $290 all up at the time. They also have an eBay store but it's cheaper to order through their site or phone/email. Fitment for the side skirts was really good, but I haven't seen their bumpers.

I've also seen Team Jetspeed | Online Bodykit Store online (and on eBay) and they are located in Vic and should ship Australia-wide. Similarly to above, they make Mazdaspeed part replicas but I haven't used them.

If you want OEM parts (e.g. aero lip, rear aprons, side skirts, mud flaps) you could try some wreckers for second hand parts. I even got really lucky and managed to find a brand new, unopened genuine front aero lip at some wrecker over east - they had 5 for some unknown reason so I purchased one for around $400...

Also, regarding the OEM aero package side skirts or rear aprons - these are pretty small and can be shipped from anywhere in the world. Should be able to find a few around online. I got pretty lucky with this as well and managed to find a brand new pair of rear aprons, factory painted in velocity red for about $120 shipped from the US.
