Wow thats a really good way of saying, "I'm under the thumb..."

:)

Cromax 06-11-2007 07:35 AM

Well ... why would you say that drew?

I'd probably prefer to spend time with my new addition to the family, rather than be cruising around. I'm sure most of us would.

And what you said is a really good way of saying:
"I am probably a virgin still living at home with my mum and will be for some time to come !!"

Ha Ha,

Thanks Kall,

Isabella Rose, 5lb 1oz. She had to stay in special care in a humidi-crib for a couple of weeks but she is home and going strong now.

Sorry Drew couldn't let that one slide.

Enjoy the cruise guys.

Sorry Trev I know ive taken ur thread off topic but can you blame me? lol

enforcer 06-13-2007 03:00 AM

Not a problem Kall...we can dedicate the drive to Isabella Rose...hell...we could even do a drive by BABY n things in Mt Gravatt...!:wiggle:

Furymax 06-13-2007 07:21 AM

That is funny - thanks Trev, no need for the drive-by. I think we have all of the stuff we need... SO Much friggin stuff. Think of the mods I could have bought !!!

Kall, she looks more like me at the moment (poor thing). Hopefully for her sake she somehow turns out looking more like her mother.

Thanks Guys

Congrats on the new baby girl Fury, not nice experiencing the special care ward with your newborn child.

Glad to see she is home and going strong :) Next cruise then .

This message is replicated in the RX8 club Australia site...

The formula used on the day will be pretty much aligned to previous cruises. To truly enjoy it, you must embrace the philosophy of the road, there will be no boring bits, the cruise will have a beginning and an end, and it will be the journey that counts. :Peace:

Jambos will design the course, sit back, relax and enjoy what will be a very rememerable trip! The route will be kept confidential until we meet on the day so that we don't attract any non-RX8 taggers on the cruise. :spank:

If you have any ideas for a route, map it out, nominate a start place and PM Jambos. If interested we can do a comparson on our fuel consumption stats. :fingersx:

The standard 'XXUP' rules will apply...

- no speeding
- maintain formation, and be considerate of other road users
- stop half way for lunch before we all collapse from starvation
- families are welcome
- every cruise features the Hymee loop
- try to bring a UHF radio of at least 1W preferably with VOX
- mobiles exchanged in case we get separated
- only RX-8s can join the cruise

I'll throw on a couple more...

- if you drive precisely you wont have an accident
- lots of pics and above all have a great time !

Watch this space.... :wink2:

I can't make it. Got too much on at the moment (deadline on a project and I think I'll be writing doco all weekend). Hopefully might see you at the next one.

Have fun all.

Details

For the benefit of all RX-8ers and potential participants on this forum,

I have sent a PM to almost everyone but if I've missed anyone, please let me know so I can send you the details of the cruise. :smoker:

And in answer to your questions...the hymee loop, featuring Hymee himself is looking promising! :ylsuper:

This is shaping up as one our biggest RX-8 gatherings on record yet, the weather is looking great and it will be an event not to miss! :dubs:

Take care and we look forward to seeing you on the day. :grouphug::us4allswi:smiley309 :celebrate

enforcer 06-22-2007 08:34 PM

We've got a few more attending and this is shaping up as a great cruise. On arrival at the Northside meet up point, everyone will get a colour print out of the route and you'll get a couple of phone numbers just in case someone gets off course!:scratchhe

We'll meet at around 9.00am for a coffee for a 10.00am start, and theres a petrol station nearby if you need to top up. If anyones still considering coming along, please PM Jambos, myself or anyone else who's on the list and we'll send you the details of the meet up point. :smoker:
We look forward to seeing everyone there, the route has some excellent sights, and above all look forward to meeting with everybody!:beerchug:

DrewMan 06-22-2007 11:44 PM
