pretty negative comments about greddy kit??

i thought greddy kit would be good enuf to start..

but i hear alot of negative comments...such as major problems...

missing bov...so on...

i don't want great power...250-60 whp is great for me..

would it be really that risky to basically install the kit only?

and light tuning on it?

just to let it run at 6psi or around that?

i'm not gonna buy boost controller for while...prob in 1 month or 2 after the kit is installed.

simply.. what do i need to do to make greddy kit to be reliable @ 6 psi??

wat kind of settings and tunes??

my budget is still at 10-12k max..

if it's possible to make it under 10..that will be great..

i don't want such great power....not well experienced just yet...

becoz i've been driving such a slower cars like camry corolla.. ( great family cars )

tip:
go around to the rotary specialists and speak to them face to face and discuss your "requirement". it'd be more valueable than getting advices from here (not saying it isnt good enough from here...)

good luck!

Negatives come from people who didn't get the car tuned and blew their engines, or didn't research before buying, and expected the greddy kit to be plug and play.

The kit isn't going to work well out of the box for several reasons, but it doesn't take much to get it functional.

It would be risky. You'll want at a minimum to do this:

1. Upgrade all the hoses $100 - $200 USD
2. BOV $200 - 300 USD
3. AFR and Boost gauges $300 - $400 USD
4. Interceptor-x fuel management (optional) $1500 USD
5. Fix #2 (search for it)
6. Tuning.

At 6 psi, I don't see why you'd have any problems.

Dont forget the ROTORMASTER supercharger installation is a tried & proven product for the 13B-MSP engine
