Mazda OEM price hike in 2009

As if Mazda parts arent already a total rip off :spank: according to this thres a price hike in 2009 :banghead:

Mazda OEM Price increase from January 1 2009

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We just got word today that Mazda will ring in the New Year with another price increase on OEM parts. Yes there was a recent price increase in October 2008 and commodity prices have decreased however this is the information we have been provided with. There is currently no information on exactly how much the increase will be until the New Year is hear.
Sorry to have to be the bearer of bad news, we just want to give a heads up to those who are interested.

Normally we cannot offer much of a discount from the already very competitive prices that we list on Mazda OEM items. In order to our best to help provide enough incentive on purchasing essential OEM before the price increase and to battle the unfavorable currency rates RHDJapan will be offering a 7% discount on all Mazda OEM until December 18 (Japan Time)

Coupon Code: MazdaEssentialOEM

*Please note that any items ordered that are on backorder with Mazda until after the New Year will be subject to the new price increase. Any items that fall into this category will be cancelled and a full and immediate refund will be provided.

Michael, they didn't inherit the name stealerships for nothing. http://img36.picoodle.com/img/img36/...4m_3971f07.gif I wouldn't be surprised if Mazda are already using cheaper components to increase their bottom line.....but if you ask me they are sinking the same way as Holden.http://planetsmilies.net/machine-smiley-5068.gif On the up side, if we look around hard enough we'll still be able to get cheaper parts in the US...

Mazda recently bought most of Fords 30% interest in Mazda , i guess some one has to pay for this aquisition   , car manufacturers more so than ever will be cost cutting in order to survive the huge downturn in car sales so dont expect quality parts and products in the short term .

Cheers
Michael
